This is Enoch, a young Palladin from the order of The Face of God. He’s a gifted younster who was born into the order and weilds the Justice Cross blade against the forces of evil since he’s twelve. Yet at the age of fourteen he looses his left arm in combat, which leaves him literally useless since the Justice Cross cannot be lifted with just one hand and no other weapon can withstand the creatures of Hell.
Long story short, the boy gets tricked by Lucifer into making a deal with him and thus is granted extraordinary strength gathered in his right arm, he does continue his quest against darkness. Satan claims his soul of course, but the boy’s soul already belongs to God and innocent and pure as he is, no evil can reach him.
At the age of 18 he is the strongest and fiercest warrior of the order. At the age of 20 he becomes the grand Inquisitor and would lead a crusade against the foes of God, the vile and the unfaithful for four long years. By the time when the Grand Crusade is over, Enoch’s faith isn’t as strong as before, he thought he would bring mercy to the siners yet he had burned war mercilessly, and sinned he has himself. And at the age of 26 he meets Lucifer again…
So here’s for the background story. The design itself is a strangely fun mix of Ancien Egypt, Ancient Greece, early Christian symolism and a touch of Steampunk. He also wears a huge 16th century English armor, and some bits of late 18th century clothes - but I still have to draw those. So… meet Enoch :)
