I though that mayyybe I should color it…
While the human colonies are at war with an un-friendly alien species, another mysterious alien race appears at the borders of the explored space. Iridae, as they call themselves, refuse to take part in this conflict while they still promise to help humans. They provide them with a “weapon and a powerful tool to be used through the war”. This gift happens to be an Iridae larva who is supposed to serve the human race until the war is over. Thus project D.6CE is started, the project gives its name to the alien ( Daniel Vice) who integrates the Earthain airforce.
In his larva form Vice has smooth human-like fragile skin, and only his hair is made of stiff rigid fibers that look like chintin. Later on, evolving to their mature form Iridae have all of their skin covered with such substance forming an exoskeleton. It is of an iridiscent black sparkling with violet and turquise just like the wings of the butterflies.
I have so many things to tell about the Berserker that I don’t even know how to start. So I’ll type a few words about Hunter instead. Blake Hunter is a 35 year-old mercenary, he’s a bit of a jerk, pretty much good-looking, successful with women and barely has any friends. He is an orphan but he was adopted at the age of 6. He used to navigate on board of The Escapist ship with a bunch of other smugglers and bounty hunters seeking fortune and glory. He joined the Order of the Berserk King and eventually became his bodyguard. Yet, he doesn’t have faith in anything, even less in the King’s visions, and that’s one of the reasons why the Berserker had him chosen for this position. Hunter’s main task is to overpower and contain the rage outbursts that the Berserk suffers due to his “curse”. These two have a rather…complecated hatelovehate relationship.
The Berserker’s weird profile. I kinda always wanted to explain how the shape of his head is put together :D
Ohmygosh I’m glad that you actually responded but I have no idea how to properly reply to all these D:
I do realize now I should be writing more about my characters, all of them have quite a back story. In fact I haven’t been doing “just cool designs” for ages, what I draw does have a great meaning to me. But I don’t consider myself a good writer, gosh I can hardly get some correct English out ouf me! So I always thought that a long piece of poorly-structured text would bother people more than anything.
So, thank you for your input! Let me think it though^^
I never get any fan art at all, perhaps I don’t draw my characters enough or I don’t draw them nicely enough, or maybe they just don’t appeal to people, but that cannot be helped. Can it?
At least I got very badarse Fillian McCarthy and Emily Burke and William de Saint-Prix cosplay and fan art, It’s pretty damn awesome, I just wish my personnal stuff could get some too.
